It is said that Dainichi Kongo-in, located on the border between Mori Town and Shimada City, was founded with Gyokisaku Dainichi Nyorai as the main shrine. In the spring of the 40th year of Meiji (1907), the temple was completely destroyed by fire. The mountain gate, which fortunately escaped the fire, was built in 1837 and is said to be the confident work of Kihei Kurokawa, a carpenter who was unemployed, and the members of the hut group show traces of many craftsmanship.
