大日山金剛院
森町と島田市との境にある大日金剛院は、行基作の大日如来を本尊として開創されたと伝わっています。 明治四十年（一九〇七年）春、火災にために諸堂伽藍がことごとく焼失。幸いに火災を免れた山門は天保八年（一八三七年）の 築造で御免大工黒川喜平の自信作とされ、小屋組の部材には、数々の技巧の跡がうかがえます。
